Fabulous Food, Family Friendly

Tacos Nayarit is Fantastic. It is NOT a fancy place but it is home to the best tacos in Columbia.
Try the Chalupas! They will fry a flour tortilla on the spot.
Fish Tacos – These take a few extra minutes for them to prepare but they are worth the wait!
My other go to Tacos are Shrimp and Carne Asada.
If you go for lunch I recommend you arrive by 11:30. By noon the place fills up quickly.
If you live in the area or are driving by on the Interstate, don’t miss Nayarit!

Traveling off interstate 77 in South Carolina and tired of American fast food

We were traveling off I-77 and wanted something other than the typical fast food. I use trip advisor all the time when traveling. This popped up as near to us. We got off the interstate and awaiting to arrive at our destination was a little nervous. Then we saw the clean adequate parking outdoor seating restaurant. Authentic Mexican food. Fresh clean and quaint. I highly recommend this place. We got three burritos three tacos chips salsa guacamole and two drinks and it was 43.00. We consider it a win if we get dinner for 5 for 40 bucks. Everyone is full and happy. Win for us!! Mom of three!

Tacos Nayarit is a small quaint artistically design ed quietly placed Mexican Restuarant on 1531 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC. Do not miss this stop! Food was awesomely fresh and tasty!! Staff was friendly and moved with precision. My son, his friend, and I stumbled on this gem while visiting. I ordered shrimp tacos, a steak taco, and a pork gordita and a soft drink. Menu offers a variety of delicious prepared items and Food was reasonably price and the restrooms were very clean!! You order before seating yourself. As always, Don’t forget to tip!!

Shrimp soft tacos with cilantro, onion, sour cream, guacamole and lime were very, very good! So glad this place was recommended to us. Chipotle style where you pick and choose what you want. Will be back!

I live on the other side of town and met a friend for lunch. There was about 4 people in front of me and we waited about 10 minutes. I got the carne asada taco, shredded beef sopa, and shredded beef gordita. Loved the taco and gordita! The carne asada had good flavor. I’ll probably get a shredded beef taco and carne gordita next time! I ordered some chips and cheese to go. Cheese was so good!! Can’t wait to come back…or yall could just move to Lexington! Also I couldn’t find a menu anywhere so I’m posting one! Go try them!!
